Artist's Comments
This is one of my very early prints from Photo 1. I had to clean it up a LOT due to my gross inexperience in printmaking, heh. There was plenty of dust, a watermark, and the image borders weren't crisp at all. Amazing what a semester can do for someone. This shot was pretty tough to get since Sky tended to be impatient and not deal with me getting close to him with a camera. I'm really glad to have gotten it though. Sky, one of my best friends for 18 years, was hit by a car last month
 I had always wished I could have gotten more pictures of him, and unfortunately now I won't be able to.I used GIMP to clean up the picture after scanning it in. Until now I've always used Photoshop instead. I must say though that I enjoyed using it and probably will continue to in the future. |

 reports, 21h 11m agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board.
